Marci M. Krause has been teaching flute lessons for over 30 years. She is also an active musician, playing with Ensemble Monterey Chamber Orchestra, Monterey Bay Symphony, as well as various choral and chamber groups, bands, and pit orchestras. Her most recent performance was at NYC’s Carnegie Hall in April of 2025. Marci has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Marci’s goal is to teach her students how to achieve the results they want while enjoying the life-long pursuit that is music. Through the use of scales, etudes, and solos, students will learn dexterity, good tone and intonation, and musicality. Central to this are techniques on how to use their practice time to their best benefit. Marci also coaches on stage presence and good rehearsal etiquette.
Students of all ages are welcome!
Rate : $40/half hour and $75 per hour.
Charter School Rates are $48/half hour and $90 per hour
