
Sarah Bunch is a classically trained, professional violinist whose performance career has spanned 15+ years. Predominately an orchestral and chamber musician, highlights of her symphonic and chamber work include performing with the American Youth Symphony, Downey Symphony, Debut Chamber Orchestra, Dart Collective, Hollywood Concert Orchestra, Roudaki Orchestra, and the Westside Chamber Orchestra. In addition, Sarah is currently the concertmaster of the Santa Clarita Regional Theater Pit Orchestra and has played for numerous musical productions. She has recorded for artists such as award winning Yousef Yaqub and producer Vinnie Corbo, as well as has performed live alongside Sarah Chang, Derek Smalls, Homayoun Shajarian, and Anoushiravan Rohani.
Sarah grew up in Palmdale, California, where she studied under Patricia Graham. She began her orchestral training at West Coast Classical, working her way up and then residing as concert chair of their top orchestra for several years. Now, she is a conductor and director of two of their string orchestras, as well as co-director of their chamber class. In addition to teaching at West Coast Classical, she serves as VP on their Board of Directors.
Sarah has maintained a private studio for 13+ years, teaching violin and viola to students of all ages. She is also a string coach for the Antelope Valley Union High School District, working alongside music directors at different schools to help develop and assist in teaching their string programs. Sarah also plays alongside various educational orchestral groups like West Coast Classical, The Master’s University, and CSUN Youth Orchestras to support their developing string players.
Rates : $45 per half hour / $90 per hour
