Genevieve (Genna) Eberhard, Violinist
Hello! My name is Genna and I am a musician who loves to teach! I am currently a senior Music Education major at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, but I grew up here in the Antelope Valley. I’ve been blessed to study violin performance under Steven Zander, Dr. Han Soo Kim, Isaac Kay, and Dr. Ruth Lin during my time at Westmont while delving into educational psychology and applied technique courses.
I am an orchestral musician with professional recording experience and a background in jazz and worship improvisation. In addition to my violin pursuits, I sing in the Westmont Choir and have produced multiple original songs with The Phoenix, Westmont’s arts magazine. Prior to college, I was classically trained under Patricia Graham for 12 years, a member of West Coast Classical, and a 2021 SCSBOA Honors Musician.
With three years of teaching experience in both private and group settings, I enjoy working with students of all ages and backgrounds! Whether you are just beginning your musical journey, brushing up your skills, or hoping to learn something new, I would love to help! Learning music should both challenge and bring you joy–I hope to support you along the way.
